About
Karen was born and raised in Wisconsin. She and her husband lived in Brazil for more than 20 years, relocating to Green Bay in 2017. While she has a background in music, piano and voice, in 2008 she began to explore the visual arts, specifically drawing. However, in 2017, ceramics became her primary focus. She continues the pursuit of learning and experimentation. Karen’s work has been exhibited in various juried regional events.

Karen’s work is often eclectic. She will take an idea and run with it, but she is not afraid of branching out into another direction. She ranges from whimsical fish to thoughtful, subtle faces. If you are interested in purchasing a piece, please contact her.
As a teacher, Karen has many years of experience. She teaches at the local community college as well as at a community center. There are options for ceramic classes and workshops. Please contact her for more information.

Coffee in all its possibilities is wonderful! My favorite, though, is a cup of medium roast Brazilian coffee with a splash of half & half. Drinking coffee and working in clay... now THAT's a great day!
